This workshop is for anyone who is a human and wants to move in an efficient manner - meaning effortlessly, flexibly, and pain-free! Join Jenn Pilotti, M.S. of Be Well Personal Training to take an in-depth look at how the hips/pelvis functions during fundamental movement patterns like walking, squatting, lunging, and more, and the different roles the pelvis has when the foot is on or off the ground. We will cover common patterns in the hips, as well as how to create both more stability and freedom in the pelvis using movement instead of static stretching. We'll explore the connection between hip function and neck and shoulder functionality and mobility. Movement professionals (personal trainers, strength coaches, Pilates teachers, and yoga teachers) will have a broader understanding of how to apply these concepts for clients, and self-motivated athletes will be able to deepen their understanding of how this important area works. Be prepared to both take notes and move around! Join us!
