This is an ADVANCED level workshop that highlights the traditional Pilates principles and methodology, whilst incorporating the benefits of functional strength training techniques. The workshop is a whole body integrated program designed to gain strength, correct and improve musculature imbalances, posture and alignment, increase flexibility and overall range of motion.
- We will work according to the the original Pilates principles.
- Assess body alignment and postural deviations- standing.
- Identify neutral pelvis and varying positions - supine.
- Recognize common limitations and protocols.
- Work the whole body in a seamless progression.
- Learn modifications according to the needs and goals of the client.
- Practice a program tailored for the seasoned practitioners incorporating functional exercises and the Pilates repertoire.
